State-of-the-art machinery – 100% made in Germany

Display production at Knappe + Lehbrink

100% made in “Bünde”

At our facility in Bünde, we have more than 10,500 square meters of production space. This is where we create custom display solutions with the highest precision and quality. By utilizing modern manufacturing technologies, efficient processes, and high-quality materials, we are able to produce both small and large quantities.

Our production takes place entirely in Germany. The “Made in Germany” quality seal stands not only for the highest manufacturing standards, but also for short delivery routes, high planning reliability, and the dependable execution of challenging projects. Continuous investment in our machinery and the professional development of our employees also ensure a consistently high level of quality.

Corrugated Cardboard Processing

Lamination

In the lamination process, a pre-printed sheet of paper is applied over the entire surface of the corrugated board and permanently bonded to it. This process is particularly well-suited for sophisticated displays and product packaging that require a high-quality appearance and a strong brand impact.

Our semi-automatic laminating machine achieves a speed of 10,000 sheets per hour when using optimal material combinations.

In the lamination process, corrugated cardboard and printed sheets are bonded together.
Die-Cutting

The laminated sheets are die-cut using a flatbed die-cutter.

The die-cutting machines we use feature a fully automatic sheet feeder with an integrated stripper and automated waste removal.

The die is a special cutting and creasing tool that creates the necessary contours (cuts and creases) in the corrugated cardboard sheets.

Insert the sheet and cut it out using the appropriate die.
Manual Display Assembly (Made-to-Order Production)

Assembly involves putting the display together and completing it. The individual components are precisely joined using state-of-the-art adhesive systems. Since a display consists of several components, these are glued, folded, and slotted together one by one until the finished display is created.

The displays are then either stocked with merchandise, delivered as flat-packed decorative kits, or packed flat on pallets to save space.

perfect display result.
Packaging production

Whether it’s cardboard, corrugated cardboard, or offset-laminated material, in addition to all FEFCO and ECMA standards, we also manufacture unique retail packaging with sophisticated inserts to ensure that your product not only makes a great impression but also looks great.

To achieve this, we use our folding carton gluing machines, which are capable of a wide variety of gluing techniques.

Optimal production capabilities for small batches

Cost-effective production for smaller print runs
Digital printing

Our “small” digital printing press is used to print on a wide variety of materials up to 5 cm thick. The results are outstanding and, to the naked eye, indistinguishable from offset printing.

In addition to producing display and packaging projects in small- to medium-volume runs (e.g., for startups), this production technique is also ideal for printed approval samples.

Plotting

We use two large-format cutting and milling plotters to create production-ready mock-ups and digitally printed approval samples.

These precision machines are precisely tailored to our workflow and ensure flawless and reliable production.

Processing of fabrics and textiles

Textile printing

Using state-of-the-art textile printing technology, we produce high-quality prints for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Print widths of up to 3.37 meters and roll lengths of up to 200 meters enable efficient and flexible production, even for large projects. A cutting-edge drying system and precise, automated production processes ensure brilliant colors, the finest details, and consistently high print quality.

Among other items, we print decorative fabrics in various styles as well as flag fabrics. We prioritize the use of sustainable materials and inks. The Durst Sublifix ink we use, in combination with the fabrics, is certified according to Oeko-Tex® STANDARD 100 and stands for responsible production combined with the highest quality.

Textile processing

In our directly integrated finishing process, we cut your printed fabrics precisely to the desired size. In addition to precise cuts, custom contour cuts are also possible. Furthermore, in our in-house sewing shop, we manufacture custom-made fabric products – ranging from creative, unique shapes, such as a chocolate bar used as an advertising medium, to customized brand displays.

Our fabric-based promotional materials offer a wide range of applications: from banners with custom finishing for storefront displays to flags, pallet covers, and large-format 3D displays.

Finished banners are rolled up and packaged.
