In 2026, we’ll celebrate 30 years of Knappe + Lehbrink!

What defines us today as a medium-sized company didn’t happen overnight. Our story began in 1996 when Oliver Lehbrink and Klaus Knappe founded the company Knappe + Lehbrink POS – Managing OHG.
Even back then, one thing was clear: we wanted to build something of our own, driven by conviction and passion.
From modest beginnings, we have gradually developed into a company that is now firmly established in the market and trusted by our customers.

Over the years, we have continually invested—in new facilities, modern technology, and more efficient processes. Not as an end in itself, but to remain reliable, deliver quality, and keep pace with market demands. This continuous development has strengthened us and made us a reliable partner for our customers.
For us, being a medium-sized company means taking responsibility, remaining approachable, and thinking long-term.

The company was founded on October 1, 1996, by
Klaus Knappe and Oliver Lehbrink

2025

Acquisition of display manufacturer pod GmbH in Braunschweig (independent business operations of pod Display GmbH & Co. KG)

Investment in four latest-generation digital machines

Purchase of a property in Bad Oeynhausen and expansion of our storage and production areas by a further 3,500 m²

2024

25 years of Knappe + Lehbrink Promotion GmbH

Expansion of the photovoltaic system by a further 994 modules

2022

Expansion of the vehicle fleet/conversion to electric vehicles

Investment in the latest generation of machines

Takeover of the business activities of Deco Novo Display

Installation of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system

The company moved into a 6,000 m² external warehouse in May of 2011

Simone Knappe joins the management team

Start of cooperation between Knappe + Lehbrink and Deco Novo

External capacity expansion of the warehouse and assembly space by up to another 2,000 pallet spaces

Expansion of production and warehouse space to up to 6,000 pallet spaces

Expansion of another 150 m² office space

Construction of a new 5,000 m² administrative and production building with high-bay warehouse
