Sustainability is important to us
For us, sustainability is more than just a trend. Even when developing new display concepts, we focus on resource-efficient materials, efficient production processes, and durable solutions. Our goal is to combine environmental responsibility with economic efficiency, thereby creating sustainable value for our customers. By continuously optimizing our processes, we actively contribute to responsible and forward-looking production.
Buildings and vehicle fleet
- Since 2010, electricity has been generated via a south-facing photovoltaic system with 374 modules (67.32 kWp).
- In 2024, the photovoltaic system will be expanded by a further 994 modules (422.46 kWp) facing east-west.
- This will generate up to 400,000 kWh of electricity per year. The self-sufficiency rate is approximately 50% per year.
- EU zero-energy building Geothermal energy, air circulation system with cross heat exchanger, cooling of the building via concrete core activation
- Various measures to reduce CO2 emissions (including converting the entire lighting system in administration and production to LED technology)
- Conversion of over 60% of the vehicle fleet to 100% electrically powered vehicles
Production
- Predominant use of cardboard and corrugated cardboard made from up to 80% recycled paper
- Over 90% of operating materials are biodegradable (e.g. conversion of PVC adhesive tapes to kraft paper with natural rubber)
- Only FSC® materials are processed
- Reduction of production waste through optimisation of material allowances
- Efficient and lean processes thanks to lean management strategies that lead to optimum utilisation and utilisation of machines and materials
- Use of business paper made from 100% recycled paper, chlorine-free bleached
